Supporting Separating Parents Where They Are At, To Make Decisions And To Move Forward
“We have been working with separating parents for over 15 years. In that time we have learnt much from parents trying to work out how to separate well, what they should do next, how do they tell the kids etc. In response we have been running the Kitchen Table Meetings. They provide a service which helps parents to work out where they are at and how we can help them move forward to make the best decisions for themselves and their children”. Bob & Rebecca

How Does A Kitchen Table Meeting Work?
- Meetings are informal, relaxed and confidential.
- They are an opportunity for you to be heard and to explore and share your concerns with support and gentle guidance.
- The meetings are focused on you and your needs. Issues often discussed:
How to talk to children and put them first/ What you need next/ Choosing the right professional support.
NOTE: We do not give legal advice.
What Will A Kitchen Table Meeting Give You?
- A meeting with two very experienced professionals who will listen, reflect and guide and give a balanced view of where you are at and options for moving forward.
- A written reflection of the conversation with suggestions for resources that we feel would be beneficial to you.
- A tailored separation pack which will contain links and signposting to the very best support for separating parents.
- A copy of (Almost) Anything But Family Court by Jo O’Sullivan.

Rebecca and Bob both bring a wealth of relevant experience and have been attentive and responsive in guiding me through things. I’ve felt very reassured having them alongside me during these difficult times. I only wish I’d found them sooner. London-based Dad.
