I have been working full time as a family mediator since 2000, having worked as a family lawyer for the previous 15 years.  I decided to make the change following my foundation training in mediation because I realised this was a significantly better way for couples, and particularly parents, to resolve issues than to waste the time and money involved in preparing for Court.  Whilst I realise there are those for whom mediation will not be appropriate, I believe everyone should at least consider the benefits it offers.  I am authorised to conduct Child Consultations and would discuss with you whether this is appropriate in your case.  I can conduct MIAMs and mediations by Zoom or Skype.
