Hannah is a Partner in the family team at Russell-Cooke. She advises clients from all backgrounds on divorce and financial matters, jurisdictional disputes, prenuptial and postnuptial agreements, property disputes between cohabitees, and financial claims on behalf of children following the breakdown of relationships between unmarried couples.
Hannah is recognised as a ‘Rising Star’ in the 2020 and 2021 editions of the Legal 500 UK and described in legal directories as ‘calm and insightful’ and ‘hugely personable and bright, with seemingly inexhaustible drive and energy’ as well as being ‘committed to getting the best for her clients and (she) inspires great confidence in them’. Clients have consistently praised Hannah for her empathetic approach, strategic thinking, and clear, measured advice.
Hannah aims to work with her clients to help them to deal with the issues arising from relationship breakdown in a constructive and pragmatic way, to minimise the long-term impact upon the family and to enable all concerned to move forward positively. She is focussed on achieving an early settlement where possible, but is experienced in conducting matters through the court process where this is necessary.
She has written for various legal publications including the Family Law Journal, The Barrister and ePrivateClient magazine and has contributed to other publications such as Spears Magazine and Wealth Briefing as well as the LexisNexis webinar briefs series. She is also one of the authors of the Resolution Family Law Handbook (3rd edition).
Hannah trained with Russell-Cooke and qualified as a solicitor in 2007, and became a Partner in 2020.
