Helen is a Partner in a leading Family Law team and is adept at advising clients in all areas of family law, including marriage and relationship breakdown, matrimonial finances, arrangements for children, pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements, and co-habitation agreements.
As a Resolution Accredited Specialist and a Resolution trained Collaborative Law practitioner, Helen has a particular interest in helping families to resolve matters in a way that enables them to move forwards positively. Helen frequently acts for clients involved in complex Finding of Fact hearings where there are serious safeguarding concerns, in relation to emergency applications involving internal relocation and issues of parental alienation.
In a recent reported case AB v CD [2022] Helen acted for a father in successfully defending a difficult case involving relocation of a child to a choice of locations, both within and outside of the jurisdiction. The Judge determined that the child must remain living close to the father to enable the child to maintain a relationship with the father and the wider paternal family.
