I began working in family law in 2008 and have specialised in the field ever since.

My passion is to guide my clients through their separation during what is usually one of the worst times of their life. To see the positive difference in my clients at the end of the process when they have certainty and can picture their new future, is so fulfilling.

I am a collaborative lawyer and a mediator, which means I am keen to help clients navigate their separation as amicably and painlessly as possible. I spend time getting to know what is most important to my clients and their future and focus on how I can help achieve their desired outcome. I enjoy working with like minded professionals who understand and appreciate the benefits for our clients of avoiding court if possible and making use of the wide range of Dispute Resolution options now available to our clients to achieve the best outcomes for them and their children. I believe it is important for lawyers to remember that many of our clients will need to have an ongoing relationship with their ex partner for years to come, sometimes that gets forgotten and when it does, it can have long-lasting impact on a family after our role is finished.

I endeavour to provide support and advice to my clients in a pragmatic and realistic, yet sensitive way. I recognise that my clients may need additional support from a range of services throughout the process and I strive to work holistically with other professionals such as therapists, financial advisers, coaches and neutrals to achieve the best outcome for my clients.

I am a Resolution accredited specialist in Complex higher income financial remedies, Private Children and Cohabitation cases.

I am passionate about achieving the best outcome for my clients based on their individual needs and goals. No two clients are the same and there is no one size fits all approach.

I also have a wealth of experience in high conflict cases where there are a complex matrix of issues often involving abusive behaviour and domestic violence.

A large proportion of my clients come to me from personal recommendations from previous clients and professional recommendations from other lawyers.
