Tom Powles

I have practiced family law since I qualified in 2003. Since then, I have developed specialisms in multiple areas of family law, including children, in which I am the head of my firm’s Children Team.

I also regularly help clients in separating their finances following the end of a relationship or marriage, and offer advice and support in relation to matters concerning domestic abuse.

I am a member of the Law Society’s Children Law Accreditation Scheme and am a Resolution accredited specialist. Previously, I was also a qualified family mediator, and now utilise those skills when seeking to establish a non-contentious approach towards family matters, where appropriate.

I am the Chair of my firm’s Wellbeing and Mental Health First Aid Committe and a MHFA England MHFA Champion.
